Purpose-engineered instrument transformers
Our current and voltage transformers range from established designs to bespoke configurations, developed around the electrical, mechanical and performance requirements of each application.
With decades of specialist knowledge behind us, we work closely with our customers to understand exactly what’s required, adapting existing designs or developing something more specific where needed. Every transformer is designed and manufactured at our facility in Colchester, giving us the flexibility to support individual requirements across a wide range of power and industrial applications.
Current transformers
Designed for protection, measurement and monitoring applications across the power industry, our current transformer range includes:
- Ring type, wound primary and split-core current transformers
- Class PX current transformers
- Stadium-shaped CTs for metering and protection
- Large bushing and outdoor bushing/slipover CTs
- Core balance current transformers
- Precision metering CTs, including classes 0.5, 0.2 and 0.1
